Publishing Frequency
THE PUNTA CANA SUN is published every month throughout the year. New issues are complete by the last week of each month. Issues are published both online and in print. Online versions are available to view prior to the mail on the last business day of the month. Be sure to sign up for the eNews to get an email and link to the next issue the moment it is ready, as well as for weekly event notices to not miss a thing all month long.
Graphic Design
All graphic design work is included in the rates listed below. Either email a print-ready ad space, or we will create one for you. If you have a logo or branding image in place, just forward a .pdf file of your original artwork and a proof will be emailed back for your approval. Nothing goes to print without your prior approval given via email. Any changes to your ad space from issue to issue are completely free of any additional charge.

THE PUNTA CANA SUN covers all sorts of National & community news, along with various topics of interest, in and around Bavaro, El Cortecito, Punta Cana, Cap Cana, Tortuga Bay and many more areas. Stay up to date on local government news, club updates, non-profit group information, and school updates. Enjoy local business profiles, special event information, and much more. Read each issue and never miss a thing! "Bringing Punta Cana information To You" is always our mission.
Content contribution is always welcomed and strongly encouraged, i.e. letters to the editor, local stories, photos, etc. Inclusion is based on space available and some discretion on content may be involved. Any local non-profit group can submit editorial information free of charge, as we will be donating space to local worthwhile causes. However, any fundraiser information would be considered a paid ad space and be subject to 50% off the regular rates listed below.
Payment Options
Payment in full is due upon booking. We accept cash, cheque, or e-transfer for payments due. Sorry, no credit card payments are accepted at this time. Overdue accounts are subject to 10% monthly interest charge. Please pay on time. Non-interest monthly payment plans are available upon request and do require post-dated cheques in advance or mutual arrangement.
Advertisement Rates
Rates are based on size of ad space booked on an 8 1/2 x 11 page. See below for specific sizing options and rates involved. Need more space from time to time, just let us know to accommodate your needs. The rate to upgrade your already booked ad space will be the cost difference between sizes on the chart below. Ad spaces will rotate throughout the publication from issue to issue, unless a specific placement is requested and purchased. The additional rate for specific placement is also listed in the chart below.
Submission Deadlines
Deadlines for ad copy changes and content contributions are Between the 15th - 20th each month. An email reminder will be sent out prior to the deadlines. When you have a change or something to submit, email to THEPUNTACANASUN@OUTLOOK.COM or simply respond to the deadline reminder email.
